What is a Mini Bernedoodle?

A Mini Bernedoodle is a cross between a Bernese Mountain Dog and a Miniature Poodle. They combine the loyal, affectionate nature of the Bernese with the intelligence and low-shedding coat of the Poodle, resulting in a smaller, family-friendly companion that typically weighs 15–35 pounds at maturity.

How big do Mini Bernedoodles get?

Adult Mini Bernedoodles usually stand 18–22 inches tall and weigh between 15 and 35 pounds. Their compact size makes them a great fit for families, apartments, and homes with limited space while still being sturdy enough for active play and hiking.

Are Mini Bernedoodles hypoallergenic?

Mini Bernedoodles are low-to-non-shedding thanks to their Poodle genetics and are often a good choice for families with mild allergies. While no dog is 100% hypoallergenic, their wavy to curly coat produces far less dander than many breeds. We're happy to help match the right coat type to your household.

What colors do Mini Bernedoodles come in?

The classic Mini Bernedoodle coat is a striking tri-color pattern of black, white, and rust, just like the Bernese Mountain Dog. Litters can also include phantom, bi-color, and merle variations. Our Alabama-raised puppies showcase a beautiful range of these markings.

What is the temperament of a Mini Bernedoodle?

Mini Bernedoodles are known for being gentle, affectionate, eager to please, and highly trainable. They bond closely with their families, do well with children and other pets, and are as happy on a hike as they are curled up on the couch. Their calm, loving nature makes them excellent emotional companions.

How much do Mini Bernedoodle puppies cost at Cedar Wood Farms?

Our Mini Bernedoodle puppies are priced based on coat, color, and generation. Current pricing is listed on each available puppy's card. A $500 non-refundable deposit reserves your spot, and the deposit is applied toward the total purchase price.

A Quick Note Before You Browse 🐾

Thank you so much for visiting Cedar Wood Farms! Right now a very large number of families are reaching out about puppies, and our communication has fallen behind. I physically can't keep up with every message as quickly as I'd like, and our flight nannies are also stretched thin at the moment.

To keep our five-star rating and make sure every family's experience stays personal, I'm taking a short step back to get caught up. If you've already messaged us, you haven't been forgotten. We're working through every message and will get back to you as soon as we can. Please send just one message on one platform. Duplicate messages slow things down for everyone.

A reminder about flight nanny delivery: Our flight nannies fly standby, so flight times can change. If you choose our $600 flat-rate flight nanny option, please be flexible with your delivery date and time. If you need a guaranteed flight time, a confirmed ticket will need to be booked instead, at an additional cost.

We are so grateful for each and every one of our families, and we truly appreciate your patience during this busy season.

With love,
Mikaela & the Cedar Wood Farms Family
